Abdul Haq A. Paracha

I'm Engineer

About

I’m Abdul Haq A. Paracha, a research-driven engineer passionate about intelligent perception systems, sensor fusion, and machine learning for real-world applications. With a Master's in Media Technology and a strong foundation in electronics engineering, I bring over 5 years of hands-on experience spanning autonomous driving, bio-signal analysis, embedded systems, and DevOps. Currently, I work as a Scientific Research Engineer at Hochschule Coburg, contributing to the DEKOR-X project on autonomous driving. My work involves building robust multi-sensor fusion systems using LiDAR and cameras, designing calibration tools, and training state-of-the-art 3D object detection models like PointPillar. I’ve also published open-source tools for LiDAR-camera calibration and authored several technical articles on Medium, covering topics like ROS2, OpenCV, and calibration pipelines. Previously, I was part of the CCSR project at Universität Bremen, where I developed behavioral prediction systems from bio-signals using multi-modal machine learning pipelines. My work has also included anomaly detection in EV gearboxes, RNN-based audio classification, and GAN-powered 3D hand tracking. I enjoy translating cutting-edge research into functional tools and immersive applications — whether it's in autonomous vehicles, human-computer interaction, or AR/VR systems.
